The purpose of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council is to review the needs of the juvenile population in the county who are at risk of delinquency or who have been adjudicated undisciplined or delinquent, to ensure that appropriate intermediate dispositional options are available, and to make recommendations to the board of commissioners on the level of state funding to be awarded to local delinquency prevention programs.

Monthly Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and are held at the Iredell County Public Library, 201 North Tradd Street, Statesville, NC. The meeting begins at 12:30 pm.
Special Meetings: A Risk and Needs Meeting will be held on March 31, 2020 at 8:30 am. This meeting will be held by WebEx conference call due to COVID-19.
